Advisory Committees - Guidelines Advisory Panel
The Guidelines Advisory Panel (GAP) is the peak advisory body providing guidance to TSANZ, Donation Agencies across Australia and New Zealand, and the Organ and Tissue Authority (OTA) on matters relating to national clinical guidelines, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and associated supporting documents.
Following the successful delivery of the Enhancing Clinical Guidelines Project (2022–2024), the collaboration between TSANZ and the OTA has been extended, with ongoing support through to 2030. This continued partnership focuses on maintaining and strengthening the processes underpinning the development, review and ongoing management of the TSANZ Clinical Guidelines for Organ Transplantation from Deceased Donors and associated National Standard Operating Procedures. Through this work, the GAP supports clinical best practice, consistency and continuous improvement, while facilitating the implementation of national guidance across the Australian and New Zealand transplant network.
