Meetings

The TSANZ Scientific Program and Education Committee (SPEC) in conjunction with the TSANZ Board have prepared an exciting program convened by Dr Matthew Sypek and Dr Miranda Paraskeva.

Please join us to hear from several renowned international speakers on recent advances in transplant immunology, emerging cellular therapies, digital health and informatics and organ donation. An extensive and diverse program has been developed, covering basic science topics, advances and controversies in clinical transplantation, and strategies to increase donor pool and efficiency of donor organ allocation.

We are delighted to host a number of pre-ASM sessions including:

• Frontiers and Challenges in Organ Transplantation (FACT) Day (Saturday 15th June)

• Solid organ transplant symposiums with concurrent liver, kidney/pancreas and cardiothoracic sessions (Sunday 16th June)

• Patient-focussed forum presented by Transplant Australia, including a recipient meet-and greet (Sunday 16th June).

• TTS Women in Transplant Session (Sunday 16th June)

In addition to hearing about cutting edge science, there will be opportunities for networking and socialising with colleagues, with a focus on promoting the development of young transplant clinicians, scientists, and researchers. The program includes:

• Early Career Committee's Networking Drinks (after the FACT Day - Saturday 15th June)

• Welcome Reception (Sunday 16th June)

• The annual Fun run with prizes for the winner! (Monday 17th June)

• Awards dinner (Monday 17th June)

• Early Career Committee - “Meet the Researcher” discussion forum (Tuesday 18th June)
