An Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) is an incorporated Aboriginal organisation initiated by and based in a local Aboriginal community. They deliver a holistic and culturally appropriate health service to the community.  The ACCHS is assisted by The Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council (AH&MRC)across NSW to ensure they have access to an adequately resourced and skilled workforce to provide high-quality health care services for Aboriginal communities (AH&MRC has a separate link).
