Antecedents of Renal Disease in Aboriginal Children and Young People Study (ARDAC)

The Antecedents of Renal Disease in Aboriginal Children and Young Adults (ARDAC) study is a community-based, longitudinal, cohort study which monitors the kidney and heart health of Aboriginal children and young people in NSW. The aims of the project are to: determine the life-course for the development of chronic disease (chronic kidney disease [CKD], cardiovascular disease, diabetes) and risk factors for chronic disease (socioeconomic disadvantage, hypertension, albuminuria, obesity/overweight) from childhood to adulthood in Aboriginal people.
